As the United Labourers Front does not possess an imposing array of taxpayer-funded high-tech weaponry and is forced to scavenge decommissioned military and mining equipment, they rely on guerilla tactics enact their goals and make every shot in combat count. To this end, the ULF fitted some older FAC vessels with sensor arrays that could double as jamming devices for enemy weapons systems. This makes Canary-class frigates vital parts of ULF raiding parties, as they can spot incoming vessels in no time or disrupt the weapons systems of bigger FAC warships, allowing them to be captured by boarding crews or bypassed entirely for ground operations.
