To celebrate 4th of July, I made a quick USA dreadnought to escort the USA Nimitz carrier that Dilanski is building.
It's not the longest dreadnought in the race, but to smaller star nations this ship is still formidable on its own and can easily best fleets of smaller ships and smaller dreadnoughts such as the RIN's and Bavaria's. It also features a small flight deck to provide it with a complement when not escorting a Nimitz.

Now that is pretty. I may be using the turret design. only with giant Gatling guns instead, it being 'MERICA and all.

I can tell you with assurance, that is being saved for the super-carrier.

For a long time the USA lacked a medium-sized vessel, between its sub capitals and its super capitals.
This has changed.

Commissioned in the wake of the renewed campaigns against the Third Alliance, the
Midway-class cruiser offers a flexible middle ground in USA naval strategy. With limited fighter storage, decent offensive capability, and a massive spinal cannon running down across half its length, the
Midway could easily engage the battleships of other nations, such as the Scythian
Emperor or Praetorian
Heathen.

Continuing the trend of USA sub-capitals resembling giant guns in space.
