Centuries passed and the empire grew to encompass more lands. Some nations gladly joined Claridon while others fell to it's armies. As the empire increased it's borders, so did it's people create better technology to meet the demands of a rapidly growing state. The old magics were forgotten by many as what were once thought to be strenuous tasks became simple actions.
Recently, the empire has faced many serious setbacks. With the citizens clamoring for more democratic reform, appeals for additional freedoms in the private sector and the ever growing unrest in the more unstable regions, the current emperor, Brannoc Carraigbeag, turned to Sintar Ren for help. As President and CEO of ZhanGuo Industries, Sintar Ren was able to privatize many departments that were once under government authority. One day after ZhanGuo Industries acquired it's government contracts and departments, it's stock quadrupled. With the massive inflow of capital, Sintar Ren convinced his board of trustees to offer loans to the empire to help sustain it through it's troubled financial times. As a result, the empire became deeply indebted to ZhanGuo Industries and the emperor suffered a severe loss of credibility. What was meant to sustain and enrich the empire only seemed to further weigh it down.

Mission Objective: Investigate rumors of kidnapping and illegal weapons development by ZhanGuo Industries.
Entrusted Officer: Trefor Deinn
You are a soldier in the imperial army tasked with investigating rumors of the kidnapping of a former ZhanGuo Industries employee. The afore mentioned company also faces allegations of illegal weapons manufacture. You are to assist Captain Deinn with the investigation and, as always, fulfill the oath you made to the emperor by following every order your commanding officer gives you as if it came from His Majesty himself.
You have been given the standard equipment of a Regular in the imperial army. Your gear includes (from left to right):

1 R07 Assault Rifle (AKA Owain)
1 Mithril Katana (pictured on bottom)
1 P12 Side Arm
1 Teksovar Reconnaissance Device
Your armor and helmets have been fitted with your personalized settings and HUD's. All communications will be routed through your helmets in a secured channel as per standard protocol.
Your Commanding Officer in charge of fulfilling your oaths is Captain Trefor Deinn. He is an elite member of the Dragon Guard and has been trained in the old magics as is the tradition of his office. Should you have any questions, they must be directed to him. He is a veteran of the Reptilian War and the current Druidaen Conflict.
You enter the main doors of the ZhanGuo Industries office. Captain Deinn orders you to hold your position and remain silent. You are not to speak with any company employee unless ordered to or given leave from your commanding officer.
