[Scratchiverse] The Shaq Rebellion - pre-signup

After finally defeating the Catpire in a shred-off of epic proportions, the Vampire Stabbing Red People's Brigade thought it had saved the world. But in minutes, two aspiring dictators rose to take his place. Levi Rivaille, the Catpire's right-hand man and lover, took over Castle Scratchburg with the power of the Bass Cannon and declared himself emperor of the Greater Scratchian Empire. But he was swiftly challenged by B-baller Shaquille O'Neal, who commands what may be the deadliest weapon in the entire Scratchiverse.
Constructed in secret beneath the central B-ball court of Quad City, the sky fortress Slamocles was originally intended to defeat the Catpire, but it could not be completed in time. Now it has finally taken flight and threatens to rain down B-balls filled with volatile Slamicite on anyone who threatens Shaq's plan to transform Greater Scratchia into a B-ball republic that will take the world's greatest sport to levels never before seen.
A final reckoning approaches in the skies over Castle Scratchburg, as legions of mechsuits led by the greatest heroes of the Scratchiverse square off in a battle of epic proportions.
The Shaq Rebellion will post official signups in one week. Before then, there are some preparations that players need to make.
The Rules:
People who have played in any Scratchiverse Fabletop campaign may choose one or more of their characters to participate as Heroes. You can then build a custom mechsuit or Panzer for them - the attached LDD files provide a good base if you are having trouble starting, and should give you an idea of the scale I'm aiming for. You'll also need to specify which side of the battle you want your character(s) to fight on, and you can feel free to PM me with suggestions for special weapons or abilities. Post your mechs and attached LDD files in this thread.
People who haven't been involved in the Scratchiverse fabletop campaigns will be able to take control of squads of 'grunt' mecha and airships, along with a few heroes, when signups are posted.
