So this was a design I made about a year ago, in an attempt to give a cargo aircraft to the South Mirthanese Royal Air Force. After it was built, I compared it to real world equivalents, and was disapointed to find most equivalents capable of carrying vehicles while the Charioteer could not. today it sits in LDD, and I just can't bring myself to build it. The Charioteer is a quad-turbo prop transport aircraft.

Cool build. But yeah, tactical and strategic airlifters focus as much on vehicles and equipment as they do infantry and personnel. Even the smaller tactical airlifters are getting larger to accommodate for heavier IED resistant armoured vehicles (See: A400M). If you do want a troop transport aircraft, perhaps look at the OV-10 Bronco. There were plans to modify it to carry troops and light cargo, and it can function as a light attack aircraft to boot.
