I wasn't really content with the shaping of the countries in the Purple Sector so I decided to give it all a cosmetic change. Arkbrik suggested that nations depicted as animals or fantastic creatures might look cool on a star map, so I decided to go with these:
Poland - White Eagle
Magyar - Green Falcon
Lietuva - Yellow Peacock
Monet - Blue Rooster
USSSR - Red Bear
Srbija - Dark Blue Wolf Puppy
Qirim - Light Blue Carp
Warp Holes/Anomalies - Trans-Blue Circles

The reason why I went with LDD for mapping instead of a drawing tool was to stitch other sub-maps on baseplates into one bigger map and shuffle them a bit easier instead of having to redraw the entire map for newcomers. Constructive criticism is always welcome.
