The new version of Lego Digital Designer is out now, supposedly with more bricks then ever!
Extended was always an option man, you just needed to know how to fully unlock it.Falk wrote:Yep. I've used it. It has "Digital Designer Extended" instead of "Lego Universe" and it has SW helmets (storm, clone, scout, pilot, vader) and the clone wars blaster and a couple other cool things (like baseplates).
No, you'll have to look them up somewhere else...Ben-Jammin wrote:Can you order them?
How? I know that there was a LU version for 3.0, an i thought the "extended version" was the "LU version".Whiteagle wrote:Extended was always an option man, you just needed to know how to fully unlock it.Falk wrote:Yep. Nope, you had to go into "preferences" or something, and add a line that was somewhere along the lines of "theme = extended".Falk wrote:How? Exactly, I've been using extended mode for quite some time now.aoffan23 wrote:Nope, you had to go into "preferences" or something, and add a line that was somewhere along the lines of "theme = extended".
LDD seems to have enough parts for most uses, but one final parts update would be nice. Likeliness of this ever happening is >1%, considering LDD only ever existed for Lego Factory/Design by Me. If it wasn't for the increased user friendliness over MLCAD and other programs, it'd be doubtful anyone here would ever use it.Semaj Nagirrac wrote:Its high time that LEGO releases a new version of LDD. There are so many new themes that have come out and it makes the minifig category seem "unfulfilled". I wouldn't mind seeing some old torsos and faces added in as well. mCAD and the other LEGO computer things have the old stuff, but none of the new.
Anyone agree?
