Through LDD you can export your instructions as HTML files, and those files contain a full parts list in the very last frame, so it is blindingly easy to make sure you have the right number of the right parts, in the right colours.

Quick question Shadowscythe, I think I exported the instructions, as it created an HTML file and it is an awkward mess of building instructions... but there isn't any parts list.
Did I do it right, or am I just not looking in the right place?

It should be down the left hand side of your screen - like dis -



Use the pieces lists along the bottom of the HTML page or the side if you feel like being thorough about it, and then just go back and order any extra pieces you may want - I have build instructions for both the Scythian Tarantula and cockroach if anyone would like them.

Ok, I'm probably not going to go with that method then, since it'd probably be easier to just go through and record the part numbers.
That way, I can copy them into Bricklink to get what I want.
