Don't forget Tunasailor: He builds a bunch and then disappears but it's super awesome.

Yup, it's a nightmare setting out entire collections.

Since this picture was taken I have increased my armies by approximately half again of what you see here. They range from various aspects of forum factions, from futuristic to Medi-Evuul encompassing more than roughly 50 different armies... I would like to take a picture of them all again but unfortunatley the table is... um, sorta' occupied.

nice Army, I once used to have an army of the classic space guys, but they vanished into some kind of black hole somewhere, qalways liked them cause could coordinate colors to specific operations, so now I'm making my own color shirts, so far Grey, Black and White done, and once I bother to pick some color toner up will do other colors.
The funny thing is- the only classic spacemen you see here are those to the left. Every other faction on the field has a history, is customized, and hails from all different corners of the Briksphere- above the spacemen, for example, in the white and orange, hails the Assyrian Star Empire. Below, a squad of U.S.A strike forces in black strikesuits cluster behind their leader, Bla`ck Obama. In front of them in full armored black are the leading forces of the terrifying strike forces of the invading Immortal Empire- the Terrorkahn. Above them, in the white again, are the Iceworlders, defenders of the sacred Orange Transparent Chainsaw. Here- you know what, I'll just draw you a picture.

We retain the records of these armies, empires, and squabbles in the wiki, a most inappropriate resource of confusing, addled statements and backstabbery. Pretty much every faction in that picture is based on another member of the fourm's army. There's a lot more to Brikwars than just fielding massive swarms of units that no one can match- there's backstory, tactics, war on the cosmic scale, heroic deeds, hilarious P.O.V.s, spectacular fails, and everything in between.

At least, that's how we play it. Welcome to Brikwars.

About Us

Post by Siercon and Coral » Wed May 18, 2011 9:54 pm

Who are you? We are a happily young married couple. Sean and Steph aka "Siercon and Coral"
Do you live with your mom? (Sean) Being married I try to leave my room once a week to visit my wife. That is if the FBI says its ok... (sarcasm)
Where do you come from? Maryland USA, so if you're in the area shoot us a message and let us know if you want us to house a battle and hang out. (Though it seems a good amount of afol's are on the opposite coast). We promise we're fun to be around and so are our friends (and they like legos) ;)
What is your quest? We want to build a Flickr site people can remember as having a lot of medieval fantasy Lego creations, and can go to to imagine dragons, wizards, battles and such. We build displays, enter competitions, and try to create units which can be moved around in organized battles.
A couple more things...
Lego purist? Yes... Sean used to customize stuff when he was young, but doesn't like to anymore. And we avoid clone brands. Our Lego heroes/characters are valued on rarity and coolness from official Lego pieces.
Favorite Theme? Fantasy castle, specifically forestmen.

Welcome to the forums, it's always nice to see another Marylander.
I'd challenge you but your troops probably wouldn't be up to fighting my skeleton:

EDIT: WOW, nevermind, I just saw your armies. My ships would be safe until they land but my armored column would get sent through a meat(plastic?)grinder.

Hi there!

* - Who are you?
Forticus on the Web, Martin in Real Life (TM).

* - Do you live with your mom? (Trust me, this is important)
No, but sometimes she acts like her.

* - Where do you come from?
Well ... we have done our share of genealogy, my father in the 1970s, me in the 1990s. We tracked them down to some amphibians at the sea shore a couple of years ago. Currently we reside some 30 minutes from Dortmund, Old Europe.

* - When did you start bricking?
Don't remember. Best guess would be "before primary school", before 1970 that is.

* - When did you stop?
Aged 10/11. There was some interest regained at 12/13 only to find that The Group started to sell "ready sets" of housese and cars with specially designed bricks. I was shocked. Found those bricks to be useles for standard brick constructions. No phantasy was allowed. However, I made it clear to my parents that all our LEGO are mine and must be kept for my children. Box closed.

* - What is your quest?
At the age of 14 years I got a calling: to become grandfather. By now, I am about half way through. Another 14 years, mayhaps, my son might finish my quest.

* - How did you find Brikwars.com?
It was mentioned in some German TableTop Forum, stating that there is no translation.

* - How did you come to tabletop?
Two months ago we walked through the shopping area of Dortmund. My son saw a Games Workshop and tried to shove me in. I lost my armor roll.
