Yeah! Death to the evil Madplatzians! Wait, if we kill their families then we would be just as bad... So maybe not kill their families?

I see no building inspectors are involved in your project.

DAY 2: Prologue - Ill Omens

There hasn't been any reports from the Weisshauptian scouts roaming the Falworth ruins for weeks, which starts to worry a Captain that is responsible for the northern operations...
Nokheimer March Anthem
"
There is a scar that you can not repair
So hide your children and go prepare
Our troops attack with everlasting hate
For the glory of the nation and the death of the state
Weisshaupt pigs and Traitorous apes
Deported to Deadfort where no one escapes!
Now proud we march once again upon our soil
Ridding the world of evil and turmoil
"

Day 2 in the World of Kastil
Wojtas

As Wojtas and his retinue finish breakfast, they set out towards the southern end of town the Blacksmiths District. Soon as they enter Jan and Wacław run to a nearby market stall where dwarves are selling their fine weaponry.
Zbigniew and Wojtas on the other hand pay their attention to a much more maleficent operation. There appears to be a heavy marketing going on liquor today, a group of four men wearing the sigil of a long dead house Direlow are trying to part with a vast amount of different kinds of alcohol.
Wojtas pokes Jan and Wacław to tag along, as he makes his move and walk towards the Liquor salesmen suspecting they might have something to do with the lost barrel of fine wine. The customers attending can be seen leaving the scene shortly after they see Wojtas and his men around, especially because they wearing military uniforms. Wojtas can smell fear in the air, as the shady dealers are gasping for air.

Nathan

Ah what a great refreshing morning, as you bid farewell to Johan and the druid, Penthil. Penthil gives you a few days worth of food and drink for your journey.
In a matter of no time you reach the southern entrance leading to Gniezk, upon entering you decide to look around before setting foot deeper into the city. There seems to be quite a lot of people going about their business today!

Larce Deholm

Larce wakes up few hours before the dawn due to his arm itching and twitching, feeling pain on his palm. Getting up and drinking some water might help, he thinks to himself. Seeing Lord British is already dressing up for the journey on the hallway, Deholm yells that he'll be down on the street in a minute.
Larces arm cuts him some slack so that he can gather his belongings and head out from the Inn. Outside Lord British inquires Deholm if they're to set their sails towards Drak Ruins, he points out that he heard a few other travelers talk back inside that there has been some odd movement from Nokheims forces near the ruins. So that even the Syndicate has been rumoured to have abandoned the long standing stronghold of theirs, leaving the remaining orcs to roam the area.
"Larce, what do you think?" - Peter "Lord British" Cennol
Deholm asks if Peter knows any other places of interest they could visit.
"I've ventured down to the Dwarven Pass before..." - Lord British
Lord British tries his best to shed light into the other options at hand.
- Corton, slightly smaller town compared to Marblemoor. Travelers stop when venturing forth to either Nokheim and Weisshaupt, also leading to a safe passage that lets you journey to Nokheim quite safely between Fallworth and Drak Ruins.
- Dwarven Pass, currently the only large bastion of dwarven might. Whole mountain is full of those little hard working creatures, but they are wary of strangers and keep with their own business. Holding vast mining operations within their stronghold.
- Witchlyn, further in the east provides the area with herbs and soothsayers. People traveling from afar to buy potions available nowhere else.
- Bonecutt Croft, situated in the misty mountains close to Mistwood. Has remained untouched by wars, for it has the most solitary location. Hosts bathhouses and serves as a retreat for the northern folk.

Karthil Q'tani

As the sun rises, before leaving for the Mayors Office Karthil orders Silas to get dressed and takes one of his men to tag along so that he can familiarize the elf with their ways.
The Office is just close by the Inn. There's two guards blocking the way and demanding to learn the reason for the visit. They let Karthil continue his way inside after he tells the guards that he's investigating the Marblemoor Murders, but ask that weapons and his friends are to be left outside. While inside Karthil moves upstairs after a housemaid tells him that the mayor is currently in his library.

Karthil enters the Mayors library, as no one opened the door for him when he tried to knock. The gruesome scene is revealed upon him, the Mayor lies still on the floor with his throat slit.
You make few observations.
- Candle on the table is still lit.
- There's a letter with Nokheims Royal seal on the table.
- The only window in the room is halfway open.

Leafblade Cloakfire

Cloakfire has been camping in Mistwood for several days, visiting one of his old battle sites where he fought in the ranks of Nokheim against the raiding Mådplatzians. Seeking knowledge that might lead him forward in his quest to expose the mad monarch Count Oktavius.
On the battlefield, Cloakfire unites with his long dead comrades once more. There lies many Nokheim and Mådplatz soldiers, left to decay by both sides. As Cloakfire inspects a nearby skeleton belonging to a Mådplatzian officer, he makes an odd discovery. He finds a nearly empty vial of dark blue essence, wondering what the liquid might contain he puts the vial in his backpack for further examination later on.
[Item Acquired:] [Unknown Essence]
Cloakfire keeps eyeing the field, but suddenly starts to feel like he's being watched. And decides to retire back deeper into the woods, back where his tent was.

Coldar Starkrowe

Coldar and his men are camping nearby a fairly new settlement of Northcowl, just north of Drak Ruins. Starkrowe ushers his men to pack up the camp, so that they can move forward to Northcowl in order to restock and gather more information regarding Mådplatzians.

As they enter the settlement, Coldar ventures to find the local inn with one of his men. They are greeted immediately by the local innkeeper.
"Greetings Adventurers, how may I help you?" - Innkeeper
After letting her know that you're here to restock and gather knowledge from Mådplatzian movement, she answers.
"We've got the best prices on these parts, fresh vegetables just got brought in! What comes to those crusaders, you're better off asking my brother. He's a Nokheim Officer, he propably knows a thing or two! Please do step in, my brother is propably enjoying a meal inside!" - Innkeeper

Upon meeting the innkeepers brother, you introduce yourself as Coldar Starkrowe.
"G'day Starkrowe, I'm the Captain of the Nokheimer forces garrisoned here, Klaus Keitel. How may I assist you?" - Captain Klaus
Letting the Captain know of your intentions, he's seemingly impressed that adventurers voluntarily take up arms against the crusaders. Captain Keitel hands Starkrowe a report that indicates the latest movements Nokheimer scouts have sighted from the Mådplatzians. He also tells Coldar that Mådplatzians have never crossed Nokheims borders or instituted any kind of offensive behaviour towards them, and advises to keep the letter he gave him confidental. As Nokheim would not want any part against Mådplatzians, atleast for now. But Keitel himself feels for the poor folk that has to suffer because of those mad fanatics.
"Farewell, I must continue my work. Best of luck on your journey Starkrowe." - Captain Klaus
As you open the letter, you can clearly see that there has been Mådplatzian movement nearby Witchlyn.

Connor "The Valiant", Lord of Westlight

Connor, has been visiting his father the King in the Capital city of Westerhall for several months now. Attending the White Guard during the annual summer games, he has just arrived from a patrol mission from the outskirts of Westerhall and is keen to meet his father as well as intrigued to learn from the states current affairs.
The city is bustling with activity, there are knights in their shiny clad armour preparing to unleash hell upon their foes in various chivalric activities. Jesters and peddlers trying to entertain the folk, likewise there are various exotic merchants and exciting new wares that have been brought from the new lands overseas.

As the Lord of Westlight rejoins his father, he is greeted with a fatherly smile on his Kings face. When they're through with greeting, the King presents his son with a grim matter at hand. Other than the normal lowlives trying to benefit from the chaos summer games bring into the capital.
There hasn't been a word for months from the scouting brigades Weisshaupt had stationed in the Fallworth Ruins, until now. A messenger came by yesterday, bringing ill parchment with him. A royal decree from Nokheim, stating that Fallworth Ruins is now officially within Nokheims borders, and that any Weisshauptians tresspassing will be seen as an act of war.
Connor aknowledges his fathers worry, and asks if he could help reclaim Fallworth as it originally belonged to Weisshaupt before being sacked during the civil war. But the king advises caution, as it has been nearly 100 years since the civil war. Apart from minor battles in the contested territories during the peaceful years. For now both Weisshaupt and Nokheim have flourished but yet, set further apart from each other.
"My son, go and take a tour through the town and see how our people feast. We'll discuss this matter further with our vassals and lordlings attending the banquet set in the evening." - The King
