Eurys-β used to be the moon of planet Eurys-α, back when Eurys-α was still a planet. Recently, Eurys-α has been extensively mined by the Planetcrackers, to the point where nothing else remained of it but floating chunks of debris. Since then, Eurys-β also got the nickname 'the widow moon': due to its geological composition the planetcrackers deemed the moon unprofitable to even bother with. Nowadays it's a relatively uninteresting sight on the fringe of Perwar, save for a backwater Explorien outpost...



This is Zeb. Zeb joined the Exploriens to visit distant worlds and find mystikal relics. Suffice to say, his post on Eurys-β's survelliance outpost didn't really offer either. To keep his mind busy from the ennui, Zeb uses a part of the research funds to buy various black market relics. His latest acquisition is a pristine condition Tengu ripper blade.



Comlink: *krrzt* *krrzt* 'Zeb? Zeb, come in!'
Zeb: 'Awww, but I was almost done with polishing!'



Zeb: 'This is Zeb - I hear ya loud and clear Jahn!'

Jahn is Zeb's colleague at the outpost. He doesn't appreciate Zeb's hobbies so he spends most of his days cruising around the moon's surface.

Jahn: 'Zeb, I found something big this time!'
Zeb: 'What is it? Ancient fossils? ABones? Discarded Futureon tech from the age of expanse?



Jahn: 'Not quite... I am not even sure what to make of it either.

A few hours later, after the two dragged in the chunk of ice and freed its still stiffened prisoner...



*bonk*
Zeb: 'Careful now Jahn! It might be still brittle!'
Jahn: 'I could really use a hand!'



Zeb: 'So what's so interesting about this Jahn? For all we know it could just be some LARPer schmuck who actually got decompressed during one of those CON-station meetups.'
Jahn: 'I know, but my hovertron picked up faint vital signs of it! Let me analyze it once again.'



Zeb: 'Well, readings do show some vital activity, albeit very little.'
Jahn: 'Still, that's formidable! I've yet to see a presumably organic minifig that could endure the cold void of space encased in ice for who knows how long! We should find a way to kick some life into it.'
Zeb: 'Hm... You're thinking what I'm thinking, Jahn?'



Both: 'THE FURNACE SUIT!'

The furnace suit was originally developed by Explorien scientists as a means to keep minifigs warm in extreme cold environments. The only problem with the design was that it did its job a little too... enthusiastically. It was immediately recalled after the first prototype batch, since test subjects filed complaints about severe heartburn after prolonged wear - literally.



Jahn: 'Alright, this should heat it up fast enough - and at worst we just roasted a body nobody even knew about!'
Zeb: 'I've set the suits limiter chip so its temperature should not go THAT high - fire it up! Hehehe...'



Previously-frozen stranger: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHGHHGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGH!
Both: 'Oh crap he's on fire, he's on fire!!!'



Zeb: 'Quick, turn it off, turn it off! I'm not cut for unethical shit like this after all!'
Jahn: 'I'm trying but it says noone's on the pedestal!'
Zeb: 'WHAT!?'



Recently revitalized stranger: 'You... you...'
Zeb: 'urkh- can't breathe!'
Jahn: 'Oh geez, bringing this guy back to life was a huge mistake!'
Recently revitalized stranger: '... you brought me back?'

After a brief sense of horror and soiled space suits, the exploriens explain the blazing individual how they found him and brought him over here.



Blazing Individual: 'Hah - that makes a surprising amount of sense in this bizarre place!'
Zeb: 'So - what are you? Who are you? How did you get here?'
Jahn: 'Careful Zeb - he's been alive for less than five minutes and he already strangled you once.'
Warhead: 'The name's Warhead. I hail from the land of Medivo, where I crushed many foes and even conquered the depths of the Abyss! Afterwards I left that realm, only to enter a cold void of nothingness which embraced and imprisoned me until today.'
Zeb: 'Medivo!? What corny name is that?'
Jahn: 'Aww, so he's just a LARPer after all.'



Warhead: 'You have my gratitude for saving me from my icy tomb - alas, I must leave now! I'll need armaments and a steed - surely you wouldn't mind lending me that?'
Zeb: 'My custom coated GP armor!?'
Jahn: 'Just... just give it to him, Zeb. Along with the blade. You can also have my hoverbike.'



Warhead: 'I appreciate your generous offerings - I'll make sure to consider sparing your kind in my future conquests.'



As Warhead zips off from the facility, the two scientists meander about their situation.

Zeb: 'I guess I should have not activated its limiter chip. That mutant LARPer freak!'
Jahn: 'It's okay Zeb. We'll just file it as a Blacktron raid and get a huge cask of "Meteor Madness" from the insurance money.'

Later, on the far side of the widow moon, a rather ecletic gang of individuals are having a little R&R...







Warhead: 'Mush! MUSH! Faster you wretched automaton!'



Warhead: 'ARGH! To hell with this nonsense!'

Warhead pauses as he looks at the ornate metal steeds parked nearby.



Warhead: 'I have no idea what this is but I want it.'



Warhead: 'Who owns the red steed!? I am going to take it - I have urgent conquering to do!'



*punch*



Shades: 'That is my ride. I will kill you if you even dare to lay a finger on it.'



Warhead: 'Hah, you got some spunk! Fine; let's have a duel to the death! Whoever wins, takes the metal steed!'
Shades: 'You have no idea what you have got yourself into, fool.'





*clang*





Shades thrusts his solidlight axe into Warhead's stomach. The sound of cracking metal pierces the silent moon.

Warhead: 'Urk!'
Shades: 'If you wanna do yourself a favor, die quick.'



*OOF*



Warhead: 'Ugh... I may have bitten a little more than I could chew this time.'

Internal suit AI: 'Warning - the limiter chip has been irreparably damaged. We recommend you to remove the suit unless you prefer your body charbroiled.'
Warhead: 'Limiter? Did those mooks put me on a handicap!?'





Heat rises fast, burning up Warhead. He welcomes the surge of hellfire - it's been too long since he had experienced such a rush.

Shades: 'Setting yourself on fire won't save you from my killing blow!'



Warhead: 'Hah! You are no match for me now!'
Shades: 'Idiot! This solidlight blade will split your arm in half!'

*crunch*



Warhead: 'I don't think so.'
Shades: 'Impossible - what are you!?'



Warhead: 'The name's Warhead - remember it...'



'... as it is the last name you'll ever hear in your wretched existence!'







Warhead: 'No wonder you had that visor, you creep.'



*SPLAT!*



Warhead: 'Well, that is settled then!'



Warhead: 'Now this is a ride worthy of a conqueror!'



Entropy: 'So... where to now?'



Warhead: 'What!?'

Entropy: 'Riders may come and go, but the gang is eternal. We are bound to ride together from now on.'



Warhead: 'Hah! Well then - why don't you show me around? This seems to be a really exciting new realm to explore!'

It's been a good while since Warhead has been featured in a story. I love it!

So sick. Warhead's back and as fiery as ever.

I like the new duds. The take on the Riders is bitchin.

One of the best soaps I've seen in a while. Keep it up.

This is just excellent, you made everything fit with the Medivo storyline while opening the Perwar arc. All while refreshing Warhead's look.

Jeez Zahru, when will you make something "not-so-good"?
