Kommand- Residence of Grand Jarl Kalvinator

Image

Jarl of Sector 10

Image

JoS-10: Hello men. I'm a tad early, but I have an appointment with Kalvinator.

Guard: Yes sir we were made aware you were on your way. You may enter right away.

Image

Kalvinator: So you see Doctor, if you came to this universe looking for peace...you are in the absolute worst place.

Doctor: I see...

Kalvinator: If you ever find yourself facing against the Phaleks again, we will be right there with you at the front line.

Doctor: ...it appears we have a guest.

Image

Kalvinator: ...you're early. Doctor, I hope to see you again, it is time you leave however.

Image

Image

JoS-10: Uh...sir...who...was that?

Kalvinator: Nevermind that. You made this appointment, as you saw I'm a very busy man. What is it?

Image

JoS-10: Well you see sir. We're facing a bit of a problem in my sector.

Kalvinator: Isn't that why you're the Jarl there...to take care of problems in the sector?

JoS-10: Yes sir...and I would! However, I have discussed this issue with the other sectors as well, and the problem is growing in the others.

Kalvinator: Well then get to it!

Image

JoS-10: When we set out expanding, one of the key points was making sure that crime was decreased to the lowest amount possible. General Batman was very clear about this when he was with us conquering these worlds.

Kalvinator: Yes I am well aware of our expansion methods.

JoS-10: Of course my Grand Jarl. However there is a problem with this. In many of the sectors, there is evidence of increasing organized crime. The sales of violin cases alone are enough to suggest such a thing.

Image

Kalvinator: How could this be...our people are supposed to be among the most loyal in the galaxy.

JoS-10: I...I don't know my lord. Our forces seem to be ever watching for this sort of thing..but they have somehow slipped past them.

Kalvinator: This is simply unacceptable.

Jos-10: My lord?

Kalvinator: We must find out who these people are, and put a stop to this at once. No nation of mine will be subject to anyone's rule...except mine of course. No crime bosses will manipulate anyone under my watch. GUARD!

Image

Guard: Yes sir?

Kalvinator: Get me Batman at once.

Guard: At once sir.

JoS-10: Are you sure that's entirely necessary my lord. I came here more as a plea for better funding for my investigators.

Kalvinator: Why do that when we have access to the best detective known to minifig.

Image

Batman: Yes sir?

Image

JoS-10: AAAAAHHHHH

Kalvinator: WHOA HEY JEZZZEEZZ HOW'D YOU GET...oh

Image

Kalvinator: Damnit Batman...how many times have I told you not to sneak up on me like that.

Batman: ...

Kalvinator: Well...Jarl of Sector 10...

JoS-10: My name

Kalvinator: Doesn't matter. You may take your leave. Report back to Ti and allow Batman of anything he needs while hes there.

JoS-10: ...Yes sir...

Image

Kalvinator: You see Batman, there is evidence of organized crime in

Batman: I am aware sir

Kalvinator: you are? How a...never mind. Of course you are.

Batman: So I am to go investigate then?

Image

Kalvinator: Yes, once you find out who these people are, and what they're doing, report back to me.

Batman: Yes sir!

Image

Kalvinator: Do mind your surroundings. We can't afford...

Image

Kalvinator: ......of course he's gone...

Anyone know a good way to make shots taken in the day look like they were taken at night?

I tried the old silent film style of putting a purple tint on it, but it didn't look quite right...

I wasnt really sure how to proceed so I did a little of everything.
I use a really old Photoshop so your controls may differ.

Levels , made that darker
Curves, grabbed the center and dragged a bit low right, darker
Brightness, darker
Contrast, less, very important to drop the color down on the floor
Color Balance, more Cyan, more Blue, Blue makes it dark and blue, Cyan makes it lighter and blue, adds a moonlight

You're welcome.

Since you know how to make animated gifs, you can use the inverted image I made to make a flashie.

Speaking of a flashie, someone once made up the word selfie.

Whenever I hear someone say, usually on tv, that they "took a selfie", the phrase makes me think that they just masturbated.
