Ascendant Lord: '... however, the final one awaits. We scoured this land - a death world, as the makers call it - from its wretched despoilers, reclaiming it inch by inch. What remained of the blight nestled in this ravine.'
Ascendant Lord: 'It seems they are more than ready to welcome us.'

Cephalothu the Wizard: 'Well well well... the one who wrought doom to his homeland returns, pretending to be its savior.'
Ascendant Lord: 'Finally you show yourself! But what trickery is this you speak of?'
Cephalothu the Wizard: 'I see those hypocrites gave you the sweet poison of forgetfulness, "lord"... or should I say, Ray'auk?'
Ray'auk: 'That name... it is... oh no... I remember it all...'
Cephalothu: 'You do now, don't you? Then you also remember why this world was consumed by flame and its people slaughtered to the very last. You promised to complete the tome of incantations... Too bad it was too little too late by the time me and my demons swarmed down on this once ripe world for the taking!'
Ray'auk: 'It is all true... the Majistik...'
Cephalothu: 'See, those old geezers thought that if they fix you, dress you as knight in shining armor, and brainwash you to think of yourself as a harbinger of righteousness, you would bring them the tome on a silver platter, without them having to even lift a finger! Fate is a cruel mistress Ray'auk... yet you now wield greater power than ever before! My masters could push your strength even further beyond though. Come, join me! This world is no fun. Together we could ransack countless others!'
Ray'auk: 'Your words burn like searing flame, yet I feel they are truthful. If so, I will not let the same ever occur. Until I live, I vow to defend all that need it, or bring harsh vengeance for the sake of those that already fallen! I will never side with you or your ilk, fiend.'
Cephalothu: 'Regrettable. Burn like the liar and coward you are then! You cannot harm me, I've read your book! I know all your tricks!'
Ray'auk: 'You may be correct... however, I have changed since...'
