... there lived a beautiful princess named Fiona. Her father, the king, locked her up in a large stone tower in the middle of the woods. He told her not to open the door, unless the perfect knight came to her and asked for her hand in marriage. She asked him, 'how do I know which knight is perfect and which one is not?'. To which the king spoke, 'a perfect knight shall bring you a perfect pet.'
And so she stood on her balcony every day, waiting for knights to arrive and instructing them to bring her the perfect pet.

Many knights tried, but none were able to bring Fiona the perfect pet. So they gave up. All but one. One of them kept trying.
Sir Guy.
On the first day, he had brought her a cat because she asked for a cat.
On the second day, he had brought her a bird because she asked for a bird.
...
On the sevenhundred-and-sixteenth day, he had brought her a non-venomous blue transparent spider, because that is what she asked for.
And when he brought it to her, she told him what she would tell him every day:
"That is NOT the perfect pet!"

But on this day, before the knight went home, something happened.
"A letter for Sir Guy."

Sir Guy opened the sealed envelope and read what was written just for him. A smile appeared on his face.

"I'm going!" he cheered.
"Will I see you again tomorrow, Sir Guy?"

"ABSOLUTELY NOT!"
