After 2 days on Azurias, the group of Quantum Surfers who witnessed the battle gather to watch the chaos unleashed.
(The first battle of the campaign can be found here, I didn't feel like taking notes on the other two. Just know that 50 Fleebnorks got yeeted at a table, Ooyama travelled the battlefield and a 12" explosion went off, killing barely anything)

"So, let me recap that..."
"Yup"
"You destroyed my Drilling Rig"
"Yup"
"You killed another Deadly Sin"
"Yup"
"You lured in a swarm of Fleebnorks"
"Yup"
"You blew up an entire orgy of Ooyamas"
"please don't call it that. Also the one I brought survived."
"But yup"
"And you accidentally summoned Brikthulu again"
"Wasn't that your guys this time?"
"Does it really matter at this point?"
"I guess not really, no."


"Anyways, here. Take this."
"is that a rubber ducky?"
"Yeah, I always carry one with me in case I get murdered and need to bribe Lucifer to be brought back. Guess I'm not gonna need this one."


"Alright, thanks. i guess. Hey, wait a second..."

Why would Vomarsk give me this Rubber Ducky like that? There is something suspicious going on I feel it
"My Liege, there is a matter requiring your attention."
"Not now, I am pondering important business"
"Is it about the suspicious bird Lord Vomarsk gave you? I believe this might be of interest."

"This oddly coloured weapon was found inside our armoury. Some believe it used to be Trans Purple but was corrupted. But what matters now is that it no longer matches our colour scheme. What should we do with it my lord?"

"Oh hello MadMario! You are just the person I was looking for"
"Hello! Long time no see"
"I have a gift I've been wanting to give you"
"A Gift?"
"Uhm, ein Geschenk"

"Here you go. I saw this and thought of you"
"Wow, is that a Kumerian Battlesaw with an underslug axe attachment?"
"Uhm... yeah sure"


"Its more beautiful than in any of the pictures I have seen. Say, how did you get your hands on one of these?"
"Huh thats a good question. I got lucky I guess"
"Well in any case thank you so much!"
"Haha yeah any time"


"Bzzt... If weapon has property CanFloat then weapon is Duck or weapon.material is Materials.WOOD endif."
"Wait, are you saying this weapon is a duck?"
"If not weapon is not Duck then weapon is Duck endif. Bzzt..."
"Call me an intuitionist but I think weapons being ducks is a bit more nuanced than simply yes and no"

Ragn: "...aaaand where did you find it again?"
QSMM: "It was actually a gift. From Cybrandir. Very Generous. And very suspicious."



"...aaaand why again am I here?"
"Because you're a weapon specialist. I know much about transparent materials, but not so much about specific weapon designs. I know it's Kumerian, but something seems... wrong about it. I just can't put my finger on it."
"Umm, yeah. I see, I see. Well... you don't happen to have a 'Ducksplosive extractor' in this lab by accident?"
"Oh, actually yes. But what is this useful for on a Kumerian battle axe?"
*sigh* "Can't you just... activate it?"
"Sure thing, but I still don't... oh. Oh wait. Yeah, nevermind."



*bzzpt* *weeee* *click*
The Ducksplosive extractor carefully separates the duckie from the rest of the weapon...



...and hands it over to MadMario.
"Soo, what now?"
"I´ll have to pass it on, I guess. That's the game."
"Oh, is that why I'm here? Nice try..."
"Nah, too obvious, isn`t it?"
"...and who's the lucky one then? You can't expect that someone just... takes it?"



"Hmm. We'll see about that. I have an idea."



*madmario has entered the chat*
"Who would like a gift?"



Raziel: "Is it poisonous?"
"No. Promise."
"Very sad... Anyways!"



"Well, congratulations. Here you go."
"Aww, rubber duckie!"

"Wait a minute... since when do rubber duckies tick?"

5 months later...


Waaait... it seems i still have the duck! And its ticking faster..! Scrap! What will i do!


Aah, Duerer is coming along, i will just casusaly hand it over to him

(I literally let the duck drop right before shaking hands... )
"Well.. there he goes... Time for more desperate measures. We are on a fair anyway"
