Assault on Ying Si Ninja Fortress

The torture was unbearable. They kept asking for the "Origin", but I had no idea what they were talking about. I lost the will to live...
...until...
"It is a joy to see you suffer, organic. I will always relish this moment, your last few seconds alive..."
"NO!"
"Come on! Get on your feet. We don't have much time."
"What's happening?"
"There's no time to explain. Take this."
"You could have thought that through a little better."
"It matters not if I die. I am prepared. However, if you let me live, his majesty will be most pleased."
"You're an intelligence officer! How did you infiltrate the ninja?"
"If we stay here, you'll never get a chance to hear. Let's go."
"Where are we going?"
"To the sleeping quarters. There's a few things you'll need. I've organized a little distraction to help us in the mean time."
"You fool! My master warned you of sending transmissions in an unsecured network! You've led the Avalonians right to us!"
"I have greater things to worry about. My plan did not proceed as I had wished. Inform your master that he is no longer in our debt. We take our leave of this backwards world."
"And what of your fortress?"
"It's yours. Do what you wish with it."
"Oh, there is much to do here. Mwa ha ha ha ha!"
"Form rank! Leave none alive!"
The foreigners took up their positions.
And the Avalonians prepared to assault the fortress.
"Intelligence reports that Semaj Nagirrac is inside the fortress and alive. We need to find him quickly and extract him to a safe location."
"Right men! You heard the commander! Let's send the invaders packing!"
"Artillery is online and ready to go!"
"Aim for the lower part of the wall. And remember, ninja walls are much stronger than they appear."
The Avalonians advanced and began pounding the wall.
"Show no mercy! If you want to feed on their flesh, I will not restrain you!"
"Open fire!"
"Concentrate your fire power into the center of the wall!"
"All right men! Into the breach!"
But the mini-gunners had different plans.
"Give them a taste of our big guns!"
"AAAAHHH!!!!"
"Reinforce that hole! They will not break our lines!"
Another rocket fired...
... and opened another hole in the wall!
A soldier lost his head. Literally.
"Like fish in a barrel." BOOM BOOM!!
Slashers moved forward to fill the breach...
... while another footman issued from the second hole.
However, he was no match for the commander, who had eaten a whole block of fudge before the battle. He scored a very lucky hit with his pistol.
The footman decided to attack the rocket trooper.
His rocket exploded, causing him to burn...
... along with the artillery.
The Avalonians repaid the footman with their laser blasts.
The Slashers advanced quickly. Their blood lust made them oblivious to any regard for life.
A rocket trooper fired at the Slashers, hoping to kill them.
He should have aimed better.
Much to the Avalonian's relief, a fence stopped a slasher long enough for them to kill it.
The next guy wasn't so lucky. His gun jammed when he tried to shoot the Slasher.
And he paid the price for heroism.
While the Slasher continued to hack at the corpse, the Avalonians opened up on him.
Overkill, but satisfying. Slashers are the most hated unit by the Avalonians.
"Let's move out! There can't be much of them left now!"
"Do not let them through! Ninja! Show them what death looks like in the shadows!"
The Avalonians continued to advance.
The ninja waited patiently for the first sap to walk through the second hole.
Their patience was rewarded.
Until the fudge-eating commander blew off one of their heads...
... and blocked the other ninja's attack.
The first Avalonian soldier through the wall met a quick death by the Insectoid guards. The Insectoids were elite soldiers, known for their prowress in battle. They would be a tough opponent to kill.
On second thought, they sucked.
Bored with melee, the commander blew off the other ninja's head.
"Surrender Atazir and you'll get a fair trial!"
"Fair?! Who said I wanted to play fair?"
"Did you really think there would only be two ninja protecting a ninja fortress? Kill the Avalonians!"
Before anyone could react, the ninja sliced the barrels off the guns.
"That's better. Now you get to feel my beam saber go straight through your hearts! Slowly of course..."
"Not if I can help it!"
"What are you doing?! How dare you turn against me?!"
The ninja disarms General Atazir.
"What are you doing? This world is ours to plunder!"
"No!"
"It's mine to defend you cotton-headed ninny muggins!"
"Nagirrac!? How did you-"
"Speak no more you foul creature of the abyss!"
And finally, the long life of General Atazir came to a close.
"Semaj! How did you escape?"
"His majesty's intelligence is everywhere. Apparently it's even established on other worlds across the galaxy."
"But the king said you were dead!"
"The ninja forced him to say those things, but we don't have time to discuss that. Greater things are about to take place."
"It's good to have you back Semaj. I'm glad to know this war will end soon."
"No, it's only beginning."
