TLDR
Gingivitis (gum disease) , bleeding gums, is caused by bacteria.
It gets into your brain and seems to be a primary cause of alzheimers.
There are cures coming.
So fix your gum disease sooner rather than later.

I saw this this morning! I also saw that as a result of the conclusions, a gingivitis vaccine is in development, so in a couple years it will mean I don't have to floss anymore.
