1. Cowboy Beebop. After watching and re-watching, I always learn something new about life and the world we live in. This is my definitive all-time favorite anime, and I'm pretty sure I'm tattooing "You're Gonna Carry That Weight" on my shoulder.

2. Trigun. Vash the Stampede also carries some very powerful truths about life, and the values of love and peace. The millie/wolfwood relationship is also far more complex than it appears, and I really like that story arc.

3. Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z. Suck it haters, but Vegeta and Goku are some of the baddest motherfuckers in fiction. I'm including both as one entry, but I never saw an episode of GT I actually liked.

4. Attack on Titan. But only the first half, I didn't care too much for the female titan arc but the first half is a very cool world-building introduction.

5. Tie between Gundam Wing and Outlaw Star. Outlaw star is stupid as shit but incredibly creative - it also gets really uncomfortably rapey and the use of the exact same song for every action sequence can get kinda tedious, but the end credits save it. Gundam Wing is the only gundam series I actually enjoyed, despite the fact that the dub sucked and that Relena is a terrible terrible character. Sex Marquis, Duo the fucking champ, Quatarra fuckin weiners and heero protagonist are cool as hell.

Everything else I either haven't seen, or has been deemed shit-tier weeb bullshit.

SOA, Death Note, RWBY, and Kill la Kill fall into both categories. Fite me weebs!

What do you guys think of the shows airing this season?

I think Lesbian Bear Storm and Death Parade are pretty good, but I'm really surprised with Assassination Classroom. For such a stupid concept, it's a really fun, fluffy anime.
