In the year 2245 earth Erupted into world war 3 for various political And religious reasons. Hundreds of factions fought a savage war for control of planet until finally, in 2300 peace came to the world. Earth was ravaged after such a long period of conflict, so humanity began to colonize the rest if the solar system, and created the ESI (earth space initiative) to manage space exploration.

By 2378, overcrowding was becoming a serious problem for the government, and civil unrest began to take a hold on the solar system. ESI scientist worked around the clock to solve the problem, and by next year they had there solution, the FTL drive.
Initial expeditions encounter alien ships that attacked on sight, all the same sleek black vessels. The ESI gathered the ship were from a warmongering alien empire that far outpaced humanity in technoly they dubbed "black holes" due to there black,face concealing armor.

The ESI promptly ended all exter solar expeditions, and created the star warderns. The star Wardens were a top secret military unit designed to fight the black holes if they ever came to the solar system. The black holes and the star warderns were kept very classified by the government to prevent panick. Six year later, the star warderns had grown to the size of an army, with a fleet to match, the government decided to make them the police force, but still keep there main mission secret.


Seven months later, black hole ships were detect near Pluto, the star warden fortress world. The black holes identified themselves as the nebulon star empire, and demanded the immediate surrender of humanity. The entire star warderns fleet was sent to Pluto to fight back the approaching nebulon fleet, thirty minutes later, the star wardens where all but defeated.


As humanity fell to the nebulon star empire, the ESI sent a message to the last remain star warderns cruiser, hammer onto justice, under the command of renowned captain johnson smith. "take as many civilains as you can and leave, we plan to surrender, get out there, find allies rebuild, and take back our home, this is the ESI, signing out for good".
And so the last ship of humanity fired up its FTL, and jumped into the unknown.
