After meeting at a RARCOM-Trattoria Fund Raising event (See diplomatic attache file ~187636) T. Rogers attempted to initiate an emotional relationship with P. Miyako without prior knowledge of the Trattorian suppression of emotional attachments (See attached intelligence file "The Hedgehog Effect") and attempted to coerce the series of events that followed into what would have been a preferable outcome for himself.

In the events that followed, mostly through his own manipulation of persons and organisations, he placed himself in the path of unnecessary harm, both emotional and physical as he attempted to initiate further "intimate" events with Miyako.

These attempts where monitored by Agent Ø337B (see attached intelligence file "Rejection amalgamation") but not acted upon as Rodgers acted outside of predicted behavioral patterns, resulting in a forced altercation between himself and Miyako that resulted in 14 significant chest injuries to his person, forced expulsion from Trattorian territory and permanent blockage from his entry to Trattorian space for the rest of his lifetime.

Upon Rogers return to Scythian sovereign territory and a further two months under intensive care on the homeworld - extensive diplomatic links where made, under duress.

After a significant period of time and the group decision of a multiple disciplinary team, the best interest decision has been made to provide Rogers with an Amnesiac compound of Trattorian manufacture (See attached intelligence file "Class - B amnesiac compound deformulation") to remove all memory of Miyako from Rodgers long and short term memory.

Further surveillance has been ordered on both individual parties but has been deemed a matter of non-importance for further Scythian-Trattorian relations.

RECORDED CONVERSATION BETWEEN SCYTHIAN AND TRATTORIAN EMISSARIES FOLLOWING DIPLOMATIC EVENT 37-A

Scythian Emissary - First of all, I would like to apologize for the events that lead to this unfortunate encounter.

Trattorian Emissary - There is no need, we fully understand the need for more impulsive races to try and force their views upon others.

Scythian Emissary - . . . regardless . . . we feel that both parties should smooth out whatever issues have arisen from this unfortunate encounter to prevent any future issues from arising.

Trattorian Emissary - Why of course, but there is little we can do to control the emotional attachments of other races.

Scythian Emissary - Lawful? Subduance? One of your security droids shot him 14 times in the chest over a matter that could have been verbally resolved if your nation was not so difficult to converse with!

Trattorian Emissary - We are perfectly open to debate with anyone who is willing to leave the baser instincts of your race beh-

Scythian Emissary - Baser instincts? How the maidens do you think your people even evolved before you discovered how too kill off half of your evolutionary urges?! There is a damn good reason half of the brikverse wants nothing to do with your race and it has nothing to do with them being unreasonab-

Trattorian Emissary - And yet again we divulge from the point of a meeting with a lesser race and divulge into insults . . .

Scythian Emissary - Lesser race? Your "Race" has only existed as an official entity for 1/5 of the time we have had FTL travel - let alone been a significant entity in galactik affairs - the only reason we are even here to talk today is because Rogers isn't dead, Miyako is unharmed - the Trattorian empire is a major economic power and we have our own wars with the Immortals to worry about!!

Trattorian Emissary - . . .

Scythian Emissary - Rogers actions would have caused incident even if you hadn't have shot him in the chest over a dozen times, but you have killed off one of the major parts of a persons psyche, a persons soul - let me ask you the last time anything like this happened, did you think inwards? Or did you just blame the other party? Think across the entire brikverse, your empire is just one small part of a far greater whole - how many times has this happened? How many times will is happen again? How many times are you going to ignore it? Just how much longer before you acknowledge something like this will happen again and do something to prepare for it even if your citizens do not actually want it?

Trattorian Emissary - . . .

Scythian Emissary - I will take your silence as the signs of your obvious inability to deal with emotional attachment. Today we wanted to talk, today we avoided a war. When will it be, days, weeks, years down the line - when a declaration of love will destroy the Trattorian Empire?
