Colette wrote:"It is the duty of the Over Watch to be our sword against what lies in the Baseplates of the Iceworlders, lands separated by the Death Wall from the realms of minifig.”
We can have Medivo Iceworlders, can't we?

So what you're saying here, is that GoT is going to end in a furious laser explosion?

Damn, spoilers man.

Damn, spoilers man, of course the Iceworlders are going to play a part, as if the OTC didn't clue you in.

game of thrones in brikwars? pk, so we will basiclly have to cut out good plot and character development, and replace it with lots and lots of sex scences.

Is there anyone who hasn't read the first book at this point? I finished the first two and was partway into the third before I realized nothing new was happening or ever would. Two thousand pages of gratuitous snuggle and grimdark tragedy pr0n with no progress towards any particular end. It's just GRRM's boot stomping on a human face, forever.

(Funny side note: I accidentally skipped the execution chapter on the first read-through, which I think made the first book seem more interesting than it was; it made for this long tense delay where the reader didn't know what had happened for sure until it showed his head on the pike. Going back and reading the chapter made that part of the story boring again.)

Like, I get it: GRRM has FEELINGS about the whole Tolkienesque fantasy tradition; that's great. But he could have carried all those across in a nice brief 150-page novella, tacked a big "they all lived miserably ever after THE END" on the last page, and nothing of any significance would have been lost.

I've changed one word and gone from medieval low-fantasy to medieval gore pr0n.

Can you do better? :omnom:
