Wargaming atop the hill
Hello folks, This is Runswithlegos once again and I am back with high hopes! You see I am now in college, and I have joined a Club that's always willing to try out new games. I plan to show them Brikwars.
This Saturday I will be running an informational session on quikwars for 3-5 people and I am looking for suggestions for teaching and playing at the same time. Should I start them with pre-made armies and terrain? let them build a small force? Should I give a shit about balancing the armies? Please feel free to help a Longstanding Noob out.

Just from the way you're asking the questions I can tell you're going about it the right way. small, pre-made forces are best for an initial exposure but in time they'll want to make their own armies.

Plastik Armory: a bunch of weapons and abilities compatible with the 2010 rules.

Thanks, I am thinking six mini-figs and one vehicle each for the first battle and player made terrain.IVhorseman wrote:Just from the way you're asking the questions I can tell you're going about it the right way. small, pre-made forces are best for an initial exposure but in time they'll want to make their own armies.
