Although it's colourful, it is much harder to forge than American currency. If anybody should be replacing their paper money, it's the states.

Monopoly Money. Also US dollars are really hard to forge the very materiel it is made of is nigh on impossible to recreate. About on par with your silly meltable currency. People also attempt to forge dollars more because they're more valuable and are far more valued globally.

Actually, "Paper" bills are actually cotton. 
So basically, with the right ink, some cheap ass sweatshirts, and knowledge, you could make US cash.

Huh. There's a difference between cotton you know? Shirt cotton has acrylic and nylon in it, It isn't pure cotton. Most dollars are made of 75% cotton and 25% linen more similar to jeans than a sweatshirt in the way the materiel feels. Also I will agree the dollar is easier to forge then your funny money but the only thing that the dollar should incorporate is the Silver ID tag seen in most candian dollars.
