It is currently October 2010. You seem to be 2 months late.

I want to say "no matter how many times I make that joke, someone's always stupid enough to fall for it," except then I'd have to go search back through the archives to make sure it's not just snakemittens falling for it over and over again. But I guess there's no reason to think that the "someones" are more than one person.

I personally think he shouldn't qualify as a person, he's a shitgoat.

For this to work you need to make an alt account or something. No one here is ever going to assume you're taking a break from being a full-time shitgoat to be a pretend shitgoat ironically.

Two typographic errors in Chapter 5:
"a bat-weilding Minifig" (under "Automatic Hits")
"An Angry Inch is easy to contruct" (under "Building an Angry Inch")

Beyond that, I wonder if you have (or if anyone can suggest) a pithy blurb for the back cover of the (physical) rulebook? For the 2005 rulebook, I found a few lines from the Foreword and The BrikWars Universe that worked really well -- a short and sweet summary of what BW2005 was all about:

"Inhabitants of a plastic-brick universe heed no laws of logic, continuity, decency, or moderation. Unrestricted mayhem is the rule of the day. BrikWars 2005, a game that works for everybody, construction fans and Anoraks alike. But just because the rules are playable this time, don’t feel obligated to follow them."

The "Inhabitants of ... rule of the day" sentences are just fine, but the last two have to change. Can anyone suggest a sentence or two that neatly encapsulates the philosophy (or "point," if you will) of BW2010?

Hal, those last two are part of the "spirit" of brikwars. Don't screw with them.

I was thinking to change them because they were more symbolic of the change from 2001 to 2005, and 2010 is BW2010 with more MOC options (at least what we've seen so far); still, I see your point that they are still true for BW2010.

Maybe if I just update it a little, so the blurb will read:

"Inhabitants of a plastic-brick universe heed no laws of logic, continuity, decency, or moderation. Unrestricted mayhem is the rule of the day. BrikWars 2010, a game that works for everybody, construction fans and Anoraks alike. But just because the rules are playable, don’t feel obligated to follow them."

Changed 2005 to 2010, and took out the "this time" (because it's not a change anymore)
