Well? What would it be?
I was trying to make rules for the Brickarms automatic shotgun; the one with the fatass drum mag. I made up rules for how it fires successfully, but I'm totally unsure about pricing. A regular minifig's bastard shotgun (range 6", damage 1D8+1-1 for every inch of range) costs 4 CP, so what should one of those made automatic cost?

Re: CP Cost of an Automatic Minifig Shotgun
I would just say 6, the same price as an auto-rifle. More damage output sure, but the range penalties make it about equivalent.

Plastik Armory: a bunch of weapons and abilities compatible with the 2010 rules.
Re: CP Cost of an Automatic Minifig Shotgun
Well, if I remember right, shotguns normally are 4 CP, so to have an automatic one would be a 50% increase in cost. Sounds about right. Thanks.

Remember that the pellet spread of a blastgun is essentially one firing arc anyway.Voin wrote:So it would work like an AutoGun (having the Arc-fire and Burst-fire options), but with the pellet-spread and range penalties of a BlastGun, right?
Only problem with silver bullets is the price of silver.
