More momentum mess

Hi

So here's the thing, when a car crashes into lets say, a trike.

the car travels(in this case) 12 inches, therefore it has 3 MOMS ( )
the trike is size 2 therefore it has 2 POPS ( )

Correct me if I am wrong.

How do I resolve knock back and all the other stuff?

Both gas tanks rupture on impact, sending the minifigs flying in whichever direction the players collectively agree is most interesting.

Seriously, the momentum rules are no fun, and I'm disappointed I had to be the one to point out how this scenario should work.

3 MOM = 3d6 dice to play with in a crash.
2 POP = 2d6 dice to resist those dice with.

If you're making a weapon attack, you can convert some of those dice directly into damage without knockback (limited by weapon size).

If you're crashing, you don't need to make a skill roll, but both are going to deal their full set of dice to one another in damage limited by structure level. Since your standard car and trike each have only have a SL of 1, they both dish out 1d6 to each other.

Knockback isn't limited to structure level, and isn't reduced in a crash. So you just roll the car's 3d6 to the trike's 2d6. If the car wins the roll, throw the bike that many inches. Otherwise it stays put.
