The title really says all, I didn't really get anything about the whole chapter, except that talismans store supernatural dice.
They sound hell fun, and I have a battle coming up id like to use them in.
Thanks in advance.

Huh. That's kind of like "how do I use toys?" It's a pretty broad question, hard to know exactly what you're asking. What would you like to do with them?

Did you try turning the SN dice on/off?

Tried both, however doing it while running causes brain.exe to stop functioning  .

Really just how to use them, how they are applied, pricing, and limits.

I'm super new to the game but read super fast and already have played a couple of games, and love it.

Thanks In Advance.

The first thing you have to figure out, before any sort of dice are bought, is what sort of Cliché they are going to fill. Are they going to be for a Classical Wizard's spellcasting? Will they represent the special technology in your Spehss Beerine's Armor?

Next up, you figure out how many dice you want to give to that unit, using the cost guidelines in Chapter D.

Third, you make sure that your unit has enough bits and pieces to represent each of the dice you have them. For example, if a Classical Wizard had 5 dice, he would need 5 elements to represent them, like his Hat, Cloak, Staff, Jewel, and the bit that connects the Staff to the Jewel.

After that, your unit is ready to go into the game. During play, the unit can spend dice to do cool things, but each die spent lowers a unit's skill rolls by 1. The Spehss Beerine (let's give him 3d6 and 1d10) could decide to tank up, and spend all of his dice on Armor, representing a temporary bubble shield for himself and his comrades (+3d6 to armor, +2" radius of the effect from the d10), but that would lower his skill rolls by 4. The Classic Wizard might want to cast the Classic Wizard spell Fireball, and use the same spread of dice to do so (Spend and roll d6es until you've ranged out to your target, spend the remainder along with the d10 for an explosion).

Dice return to their owners at the beginning of their next turn, unless they are being used for a continuous effect. The Beerine in the above example might decide to be a wuss and keep his shield up for multiple turns. However, there must be enough dice to go around. So, the Beerine, only having 3d6, could only give 3 total dice out for a continuous effect.

- a Ranger (Scout w/ Stealth who can enchant his bow for attacks & perform other, minor, nature-based hippie-magic)

- a Warpriest who know's praying to the StudGod :studgod: to smite his enemies is only half the battle, the other half is lopping off heads to offer said deity (Heavy who's massive 3" weapon doubles as his blood-drenched holy symbol)

- an Arch-Mage, carrying all the shiny magic swag expected in his position - hat, cloak, spellbook, bejewelled staff, etc

Assuming cost was no object (I know many BrikWarriors disregard CP anyway), how many SND would you assign to each of these characters to appropriately represent their SN Cliche?
I honestly give the same amount of SN dice for all my magikal units. 1d4, 1d6, 1d8, and 1d10 but limit how they can use them to fitting into their cliche.

Ranger: 1d8

Warpriest: 2d6

Arch-Mage: d4, d6, d8, d10

Sure. The non-magic-focused ranger with a minor augmentation gets one die. The priest who's half-magic-focused, half combat-focused gets two. A normal magic-focused guy would have three, and a unique upper-tier magic-focused guy like an archmage gets four. At least that's how I see it. Five or more would be for superheroes or boss monsters or something. Five dice has always been a kind of unofficial maximum for most stuff in brikwars, from armor to weapon levels.
