i was playing a turn limit death match game the idea was kill more of your oponents army.
well what happend was one of my minifigs shoved my oponents into the way of his own truck this killed the figure but we had no idea whos kill it was so we had a what i says go roll he won and said it was no-one's.
in the end the amont of funny acidental deaths do-one won.
the scores where
my freind killed 12 and a half
i killed 13
no-one killed 21
native dimmies half (don't ask how you get half a kill)
my question is should it of been my kill since i pushed him or no-one's since it was his own team or even the native dimmies since they got massacared so quickly they only got to share killing one of my troops with my freind.

i'd say that because the truck actually administered the damage that killed the 'fig, it was no-ones.

Would you not be tried for murder if you pushed someone into the path of a truck?

no. it would be manslaughter if there were no witnesses. and besides, the battlefield isn't a court

but ya, if you don't kill it, it ain't yours son.

If what you say is true, then it was teamkilling and they would lose a kill point. According to Halo, at least.

brikwars is not halo either. there was no 'lose a point' option in the poll.

I say it's yours. You didn't actually administer the damage, but you pushed the guy to his death. totally yours.

Yours definitely. Cause=push, effect=kill.
I must ask, how do you get half a kill?

No one's, if the objective was to kill more of the oponent's, and you killed one of yours.

If the car wasn't there, we wouldn't have died. Your point?

Also, what would happen if you pushed a guy off a cliff? The ground would kill the person, but you would of killed the person because you caused the person to fall off the cliff, resulting in his/her death. If you push somebody into the path of a train on purpose, the train conductor would not be a murderer. Nor would the train. You would be.
If you are still unsure, try pushing somebody into a busy highway so a car will hit them. Try explaining to the police the driver killed them.
