Supplement to the Rule of Fudge, the rule of Fun(ny): If a proposition is so funny that the opposing player bursts out laughing, and cannot speak coherently for at least five seconds, it happens, simply for the laughs.

I think this rule could provide for some interesting situations . . .

The last surviving hero is surrounded by dozens of combat droids.

Player 1: Summon bigger fish!
Player 2: Falls off chair laughing.

A giant fish comes down from the heavens and squishes everyone.

*snort* HAHAHAHA!!

..even if Player 1 rolled a Critical Success!

But the point of the rule of fun is that if it's funny enough to make the other player laugh hard enough, then you don't even need to roll to see if it works or not.

I think I missed that part. Whoops.

I cast Suggestion on Rayhawk to make this an official rule in the rulebook!

I got a 1. Critical fail. Rayhawk gets angry, and activates his laser sword.

I cast Summon Bigger Fish.

20. I knew I shouldn't have used Pete's die again...

I decide to Summon Even Bigger Fish!

Rayhawk falls over and laughs for a full ten seconds.

It happens!

*SPLAT!*

Skeleton wizard teleports across the battlefield with heroic ability!

Fail! Skeleton wizard teleports naked! girls washroom manifests around wizard, oh no! no doors out!

The rest of the battle was fixed on the opponent protecting the magical bathroom, and my side trying to save the wizard from death by female minifig.
