Jumping Down / Falling Down

Post by Bragallot » Sat Jul 07, 2018 8:54 am

Are there rules for this? I looked but couldn't find any. I remember reading something about it at some point though.

The way I do it right now is if you're not wearing armour, you can jump down as far as you can run without taking damage, at the cost of movement of course.

If you just fall down you take 1d6 of damage on a fig ('cos it has 1d6 MOM) if you fall at least 4" (like building up momentum for a charge). And I suppose you could add 1d6 damage / MOM per 4".

Of course, then there's surfaces. I suppose soft surfaces (like water, a hay cart...) could cancel 1d6 of damage (like Deflection).

Basically correct. Fall damage is treated as a Collision with Crash Damage, at the very bottom of chapter 9: http://brikwars.com/rules/draft/9.htm#5
