Independent robot's and vehicles

Post by ProfSrlojohn » Thu May 28, 2020 12:33 pm

So, I've been reading through the rules for the crew of vehicles, and I have a few questions.

How do you control autonomous vehicles, walkers, and robots?

Things like this,

Where there is obviously no place for a pilot, gunner, or anything else.
"He who controls the past commands the future. He who commands the future, conquers the past."

Through mutual respect for each other's boundaries and proper communication between both autonomous parties.

See if you can have a gunner sit on its shoulder. Otherwise, just have the controller hold a...well...controller. Device. Steering doohickey with Bluetooth.

A Supernatural Die can be used for that, but how much do those cost any way? Just a talisman for any kind of dice or do certain dice cost more...somethings?

Personally, I haven't ventured into the world of super natural dice, but I know with a creation, it has a base mind of :d6: and then you can upgrade that to a :d8: . I'm basically saying you don't need a pilot all the time

I was flipping through the rule books, and i suppose I could give it a Capable-level Mind.

An autonomous robot is just a Creature, same as minifig or horse. You just have to choose where its Mind is located and you're good to go.
