what if a unit moves though a area wheres there fire? like near a explotion or something dose the unit catch fire or dose it just move on.
a example might be where a uber-mega-destruction drone MK390 fires it missile launcer at a tank, the turret blows up and burns, the porthole is open and clear other than the fire burning around it, can a minifiger climb up and shot at the destrution drone or will he catch fire.

unless he was covered in something that doesn't burn, he would definitely catch on fire.

Definitely. I just use 1d6 damage for indirect flame attacks (not flamethrowers), but it is your choice.

A while back I made comprehensive fire rules.

He's definitely gonna be walking away a bit toasty.

The rules I try to use are 1d6 every turn until you put out the fire. You could do the stupid-but-possibly-effective school-suggested thing, where the minifig goes prone and then moves 1" to the left & right. Or you could get eaten by Ktulu, who then proceeds to fall back into the ocean. Either way works.

those rules are logic based all brik matter can burn.
only anoraks need fireproof stuff.

The only things that wouldn't catch fire is like magma made armor or something highly fire resistant. Even if it was fire resistant, wouldn't the person still be really hot and start burning somewhat? The only way they wouldn't get fire damage would be:
A): A being made of fire, magma, etc. that would absorb the fire.
or
B): Having a person with fire resistant armor, and a cooling system. though this would probably cost a shit load of CP.

I voted for "catch fire" because it means more chaos and destruction on the battlefield. Above all, isn't that what we play for?

I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter.

And Ktulu, Cthulu... it doesn't matter. Everybody knows what/who I'm talking about.
