Explosive Decompression

Shoot a hole in the wall of a spaceship and people get sucked out, are there any rules for this?

I reckon all minifigures in the room of decomprepression should be pulled 1d6 inches towards the rupture for every inch closer from 4 inches, for a maximum of 4d6. So basically, outside 4 inches from the rupture, 1d6. 3 inches away, 2d6, 2, 3d6, and 1 inch, 4d6.
They get flung out through the rupture at the full amount of inches they have been dealt outside of the rupture into space.
Every turn spent in vacuum starting from the moment they are sucked out, they roll their skill against a suffocation damage of 6.
Units are able to bail and hold onto a solid object (e.g. a railing)just before they start to get sucked out, and can use their skill roll to 'hang on' by taking away whatever their skill is from the relevant amount of 'suction', and if the suck is still in the positive numbers, they are sucked out whatever amount.
I'm not sure how long it would take for the average room would take to become vacuum, probably about 2 turns max, and then everyone takes suffocation damage.
I kinda made this up on the fly, it's a bit more complicated than I thought it would be, tell me what you think.

I think stubby has something in the 2010 rulebook in the field hazard section like that and if he didn't include it it should be.

Oh and they wouldn't suffocate they would explode as all their veins would rupture and pop because of the lack of air pressure, way better IMO.

This is movie logic, not realism. If they hold their breath, they can survive 8)

The chick wasn't.
Anyway, howabout instead of 'suffocating' they're trying to keep all their blood and stuff inside them, it's not like most figures will survive very long, they need a 6.

if they hold their breath the vacuum outside will rip the air out from inside them. they will die if holding their breaths.

Whatever, they die when they go into space within a few seconds, it's not like they're gonna survive more than one or two turns max with a roll of 6 needed.

EXACTLY.

Besides, I'm sure they can survive for at least a couple seconds in space.

Very very painful deadly seconds.

Also if decompression happens in a room all blast doors that lead to that room should close immediately, a helmet or space suit should be necessary to enter that area then

Ofcourse you can add this to your rules for a battle to make it a little more dangerous for a fig to go outside, but otherwise they don't really breathe, need air or rupture any veins from exposure to vacuum (hardy little buggers). It's all down to the players taste I suppose, but check out the caid sector engagement battle for example of minifigs boarding spaceships via cable, running up and down the hulls and jumping from ship to ship.

Since when does brikwars have anything to do with realism? And another thing: mabye if a minifig can find something to hold on to (Random pipes, consoles, etc. It just has to be secured to the floor.) and mabye after the window's busted, after X amount of turns an energy shield or blast shield replaces the window and people stop getting sucked out.

When getting sucked out I've tried holding onto loads, and I've never managed to stop myself yet.

I wonder(hope) if any of this will result in a Tehthing and his amazing theories of Gravity style banning? *HINT* *HINT*
