Hello, I am new this game and have read the rules completely. I really want to play since I have a large collection of legos and I would also like to make forum battles. I know this has been answered thousands of times but, as I said before, I'm new to Brikwars. I only have two questions: how can I post pictures so they apear as pictures and not as links or thumbnails? And how do forum battles work? I've seen a few but i'd like to learn more. Thanks.

If you look around, you will find threads specifically catered to each of these questions.

While a little snooping could've uncovered the answers to these questions, The manner in which you asked them was intelligent and respectful. Thank you, but eventually you will be broken of this habit.

I agree with Zipps, but I'm glad you didnt demand answers. Welcome to the forums! (I'm older(forum wise) than i seem. Or what my post count says) Anyways, I suggest using search before you post threads like this.

Having a polite, intelligent backgound is helpful for people not hating you, but after a while, due to the nature of this forum, evereyone becomes a blithering degenerate.

Watch yo mouth, foo!

Heh. Welcome. Avoid the cow-platter users and post pictures of your creations, and you'll get along just fine.

As the others have already pointed out what needed to be pointed out I will just say:

Welcome to the forum.

Hop Over to the wiki when you can. It's mostly useless fluff, but a good read.

Also read through this http://brikwars.wikispaces.com/Forum+Code

Welcome our cozy little cesspool.
Forum battle tips:

Make sure you have Space for it that will be not need to be used for a while.
[my second battle failed because of this]

Make sure you have the time, and that nothing big comes along half way through. like you moveing and what not.
[1st battle failed because of this]

Make sure you can reliably follow orders.

Don't make it too big, it gets hard to handle and you'll miss stuff.
[in my second battle i forgot to move my own faction due to the ammount of other stuff going on.]

Take good pics and make over views for the players, this allows the players to both enjoy the battle more thoroughly and they will have a better grasp on what is going on.

HAVE FUN. if you don't enjoy doing the battle then why bother?

hope these help!

I just realized how true this is. almost the entire wiki is only from the culture of the forum. for instance, searching 'rule of fudge' brings up nothing, but we have timeline of stuff that mostly happened in the forum, false gods mentioned in the rules but have a huge page devoted to them. we definitely need to add more on actually playing brikwars, i think.
