Oh, uh, egad, this needed so much work done mechanically. The answer to your questions is on the wiki page: "as per Brikwars." If I remember right, each of those modular squares evened out to about 5 Inches, so you could just fudge movement and range a little by counting spaces on the map like a board game board. I think it would probably have worked better that basic way than the way it was originally set up (see example game on wiki page, original post for link).

How about a counter system? 4x4 base could hold up to 2x2 brik footprint, and the surrounding nubs used for HP, Move, Attack, and Defense strength and special abilities?
I love the modular landscapes and rooms, I have been looking at adapting O.G.R.E. to Brikwars, and this looks like the way to to do it!
