several things:
1. dead players, no. dead minifigs, yes. read 2001 rules for medix and mechanix.
2. chill with the upside down question marks.

1: what are you doing with a dead player?
2: how did they die?
3: oh
4: you didnt have to tell me!
5: bring me a bucket, that was just sick what you did to them!

They exist already.

PS. You're really making me want to play Half-Life 2. Your picture is what I'm assuming is a silhuoette of a Combine officer, and the "launcher" part of your name makes me think of the Gravity Gun.

Or you could just get Call of Duty World at War. I'm almost through that now. Ker-Pow!

Actually, my brother bought it on Steam, so I could install it this very moment!

it says "Mediks may also attempt to revive a unti's severed head,"
what use is a severed head?

"...but will only succeed on a skill roll of 4 or higher (each successive number reattaches an additional severed limb)"

I should have been more clear with this part, what I meant was:

4 - minifig's head is reattached to torso and legs, thus returning it to life
5 - minifig is also reunited with one of it's arms
6 - complete minifig revival

Otherwise, the unit is simply revived as is and no skill roll is necessary

hahaha, awesome

Severed Head

Skill - 1d2
Move - 0"
Armor - 1d6 (-3)

Abilities:

Evil eye - Severed head may attempt to give other players the evil eye. This strikes a small amount of terror in their hearts, causing them to suffer -1 to skill rolls

Bite - A severed head may attempt to lunge at and bite players that get within 1". This does only a small amount of damage, but the player must use a full movement phase attempting to detach the severed head. (Roll stumble die)

In the last topic about medix, The Overlord ruled that reviving a minifig requires a skill roll of 6. For each number under 6 they loss one body part. Ex:

6 - Total Revival
5 - Looses a leg
4 - Looses both legs
3 - Looses both legs and one arm
2 - Looses both legs and both arms
1 - Looses both legs, both arms, and one head

This is, of course, assuming the unit has all of their bodyparts. If the revived minfig was missing any limbs, then you would have to roll a bit higher to revive them with their head intact.

that's about the same thing as I was saying, only with more to keep track of and listed in the reverse order. How about, 6 revives him, anything less than 6 removes that many appendages, and 1 puts him in a state of "hyperdeath" where he's gone forever. Remove this minifig from your collection and burn it.

Leaving room for the multi-headed things eh?
