Yep. You betcha I was going for it. As was stated in the rules, if an attack gets through outer armor, it's going to hurt. A lot. So, ships dying easily is justified. Also, kidko has a valid point. The SMALLER ships are easy to take out. The Destroyers and above; not so much, if you allocate points correctly.

EDIT: Added in rules on experimental rules on Epic battles, for those who think normal battles are too puny.

Light Debris: Light debris is anything large enough to be a bother, but not bad enough to cause legitimate damage. The remains of several fighters is a prime example of Light debris. Light debris incurs a -1 movement penalty on any ship above Fighter class attempting to move through it. If you are firing through this debris, the ship receiving fire gets +1d3 to its Agility rating.

What is a 1d3?

Anyway, I read the rules and under the formations part it said something about a space station and it didn't say anything about it anywhere else, so whati is it? (I mean pertaining to brikspace rules)

It's in the Experimental Ships section.

And a d3 generally works like this:

Roll 1d6. 1-2 is a 1, 3-4 is a 2, and 5-6 is a 3.

Or, as Rayhawk said, reroll a 1d100 until you get a 3 or less. :P

You're very much welcome, massacre. It is my pleasure to provide it for you. Please post a Battle Report, let us know how it went.

These rules are still technically in the playtesting phase of development, so please post any holes or loops you find in the rules, I'd love to fix them up and get this ruleset off the ground, maybe even published, if I can.

Can you guys add a cp cost for an extra base engine for frigates? My CQC frigate has 2 engines but the basic engines cost too much for both

I'm not sure, halo3000, let me consult the board an I'll get back to you on that.

I'm honestly not sure it's a viable option yet. I mean, if you want double engines you'll have to pay for it, and I don't see why you'd need to Basic Engines when you could just buy faster engines.

Frigates get a basic (6") engine for free.

The second one would cost an extra 3 cp.

And I suppose you'd just add the number of inches together into your total move.

I get 1 engine for free and and if I buy an extra one i get twice the speed for half the cost

also I thought it was a base 3in for frigates or did you guys change that?

Nope, frigates start with a basic engine.

So essentially a frigate could get two basic engines for the price of one.

Go for a forum battle! I totally want to see that happen.

I'm going to encourage as many games as possible.

I would suggest reading through the rules again, though, halo3000, it seems you haven't looked at the updates. You may be behind on quite a few things.
