Part Dimmy

The minifiig in question is a part dimmy, at the start of each turn he rolls 3d6 if he gets a 3 or lower, he becomes a dimmy, he gets -1 to the total for each attack given or taken within 5" of them, they can reverse the effects of becoming a dimmy by rolling 3d6 and geting all of the three dice the same (this does not reset the negative bonus).
i thought this rule was pretty good, but it may be itoo confusing/complicated.
EDIT1: would using this rule make me a anorak?
EDIT2: becduase of the -1 modifier for each attack given or taken within 10" of the dimmy, this causes te dimmy test to become more and more likeley to fail as the game goes on, this is not a airbourn "dimmyism" virus, but tere are no reason it could be.

You do realize that there's only a 1/216 chance of rolling 3 on 3d6, right?
edited for correct math

there's also no chance of rolling anything lower than 3 on 3 D6s, so I re-iterate:

...is this rules for some sort of airborne dimmyism virus?
If so, that is virtually pointless, it's like rolling for an improbability drive that randomly changes your figure into a rubber duck if you roll fourty two.

theres only 1 in 216 chance of getting 3 on 3d6, (theres 6 sides on a 6 sided dice, so theres 6x6x6 possible of getting 3)
3 on 1d6 would make half chance.
or do you think that you roll a dice 3 times and if you get a 3 on one of the dice then its succesfull?
basically:
was it a typo or are you really this stupid?

Your math is wrong. There is a 0.46 chance of rolling a 3.

that makes no sence, since theres only one way to roll a three on 3d6 but theres more than 2 ways of rolling 6(1,1,4_2,2,2_3,1,2) so it can't be half chance.

1/216 == .46%
Its the same thing.
(((100% /6) /6) /6) = .46%
