These stats seem like they would make most successful strikes a 1-hit KO. I'm not overly privy to that; thanks for the reference but I think i like the balance of what is offered in the rulebook.

As do I. In fact, the rulebook accomodates for (almost) all of these weapons, and some of the rules are even MORE brutal than what you've got! For example, your chainsaw launcher and sniper rifle would actually be able to penetrate through to a new target after even ONE point of extra damage!

Your explosions also sound like they would be incredibly frustrating. You know what else is 5"? ( :twss: ) a minifig's movement in a full turn. Even if a minifig left at full speed and got completely out of range or behind cover, your explosions would all still deal full damage, which is just a wee bit unfair if you ask me.

Yeah, but a grenade or rocket propelled grenade and most other explosives fill up a room. So, I guess 5" is fairly accurate. Also, why u dissin on explosives?

Because explosive damage is supposed to DROP OFF, DUMBASS! That's why there are MK II explosives. READ THE RUILEBOOK.

DUDE, you need to relax. Besides, bonus material is for home-brew, so stop trollin.

A 5" radius fills up a room that is 10"x10", which is pretty big for minifig scale. Even at a 2" radius for a 1d10 explosion, you still get a 4" diameter. This is enough for a minifig, at maximum effort, to juuuuuust barely make it out of the explosion if he spends all of his movement points. This is what makes fights epic. dealing full damage in a massive circle will obviously kill more minifigs, if you're trying to win or something.

I'm not one to be a noob about winning, and most of my friends use similar weaponry compared to mine. A matter a fact, a friend of mine who just moved away had no weapons in his army less than 3d6.

sounds pretty hardxcore bro. I guess you really dislike things not dying when they take damage?

Actually, when I battled him I got pretty pissed off. most of my weapons ranged from 1d6+3 to 2d6.

So what you're saying is that high damage weapons piss you off? could it be that games where units don't occasionally survive getting shot or smacked are... less fun?

I think he's saying that he doesn't like it when the other team is better equipped.

It actually was fair game for him to have better weapons, because I outnumbered him by a ton. However, splash damage is a bitch, similar to you.
