Re: BrikWars Officialer Chat
The way we used to run things on IRC was if anyone caught anything they would verbally warn the person, then delete their text on a second infraction, then kick from server on a third and after that ban for 24hours.
We also had mods from more than 2 time zones so people could be around at all hours to moderate.

No can do; I've already got more responsibilities than I can cover, especially now that I bought this 4000sqft house to rebuild by hand. I have a hard enough time finding time to moderate this forum by itself.Duerer wrote:Actually you could control the server even better than I can, given there's already a user called butts with full admin powers (and it's not some bullshit alt that everyone mistook for the real deal). Only question is whether you care at this point anymore.
Anyway I like the idea of there being separate spaces that aren't subject to my administrative whims. I have preferences for how things are done within the confines of this forum, but I don't think my arbitrary preferences should be imposed universally.

I didnt realize it was that big from the picture I saw.
Fixing up that house will mean you can get certified as a spaceship engineer.

Re: BrikWars Officialer Chat
Look at this monster. There are individual rooms on the second floor that by themselves are bigger than the entire house I grew up in (with a family of seven!).

There's even more than is pictured here. There's a bunch of underground rooms that were walled off and hidden that we only discovered after I mapped this out.
I guess I should have put this in the loot thread instead, but this is why the rulebook updates and forum moderation slowed way down about a year ago.

Wow, that house has had a lot of work done over the years.
I think that's the most I've ever seen.
I've measured and drawn about 400 houses.
Its always interesting when you find lost space, doesn't happen very often though.
Just last year I found an area about 4 foot by 4 foot, that should have been open, in a second floor shed dormer.
I haven't found out yet what treasures it holds, the home owner hasn't decided to actually do the job yet.

Is craftroom a codeword for Lego room?

Re: BrikWars Officialer Chat
The Lego rooms are on the second floor. The building area is everything over the 2010 section, and the storage area is everything over the 1937 section.

To be honest, you could just sneak in and go undetected for weeks.
It was the most I'd ever seen until I started checking out the other houses around the lake. This whole neighborhood has been full of nutty amateur architects for 100 years.Tzan wrote:Wow, that house has had a lot of work done over the years.

Happens all the time here. I was documenting the treasures for awhile. Boxes and boxes of antique tools and kitchen implements, weird manuscripts, odd religious figurines, old paintings and easels. There are still some walled-off sections I haven't opened up yet because they're a pain to get at.Tzan wrote:Its always interesting when you find lost space, doesn't happen very often though.

Lego headquarters wouldn't happen to be in Innsmouth would it?
