What is with the rest of the English speaking world

Like a month ago I found out about this ingenious English culinary delight:
The toast sandwich. Literally a piece of toast between 2 slices of bread
I was perplexed, how could something possibly exist? American cuisine is sometimes absurd, but in terms of obesity and diabeetus givingness, not plain stupidity.
Then I found about Australia's dessert of choice:
Fairy bread. Bread with butter and sprinkles.
What other so-absurd-it-could-be-an-absurdist-art-piece culinary dishes exist out there?

Fairy bread isn't that bad,
also, try penut-butter with slices of apple on bread.

Poutine is heavenly, from my experience with it at that one restaurant in Las Vegas.

I think the weirdest thing I've ever eaten was that fake crab that gave me diarrhea for a few days

My Chinese friend thinks Jell-o is disgusting and thinks it's weird anyone would eat it.
The weirdest thing I've seen other Canucks eat is probably buttered rice.

I like it with butter. Not by itself.

My Grandpa used to put Mayonnaise on a slice of bread, fold it in half, and then eat it.
