Life without death?
What would the world be if we could not die? What would be the point of life with no death? Would the world live in harmony or would it simply be a constant useless struggle? How would the world be? What would life be without death? Discuss.

Well, old life dies out and new life is created. That's pretty much the whole circle of life, to me. I never had any motivation to artificially enhance my lifespan and I'm generally against any of these attempt.
Death is inevitable, but I don't believe it's the end, either.

I get through most days by constantly reminding myself that all these numbskulls I'm surrounded with won't live forever. It's the only comfort this dumbass world offers most of the time. I refuse to even consider the possibility of taking away the best feature of the system.

The world would be overpopulated and not able to make enough food.
People would be killing 40,000 year old cave men in Central Park NY.
Cannibalism would be a thing.
The government would pay you to commit suicide.
Land dinosaurs would have been killed for sport and meat.
Ocean dinos would be wrecking ships.

But they CAN'T kill those people if they can't die. If we're talking about death being gone, being murdered and cannibalized counts as a cause of death, as does starvation.

I assumed he meant death from natural causes.

We'd have to invade another universe by using portals, and our immortal armies would annhilate them. As soon as we'd strip/colonize a planet for resources, we'd move onto the next one.
Also, all of our greatest minds would still be alive, and working on the ultimate military weapons to take over each universe.

Death is absolutely the end. You will never wake again after you pass out of this world.

I've once read a sci-fi short story on a similar topic - a crew of a generation ship willingly hibernated themselves every 25 years to make room for the next generation (because of limited resources). Eventually, when somebody suggested that the cryo-equipment doesn't work properly, it all went apeshit. People stopped caring about hibernation and reproduced wildly, resulting in an overpopulation. A small civil war ensued, and due to a food shortage they started turning off the cryo-chambers and eating their ancestors...Tzan wrote:The world would be overpopulated and not able to make enough food.

Yea, that wouldn't be too good.
