Based on the news I'm seeing today, pound for pound, I'm not sure which one of our countries is going to have a worse time in the coming days.

Not a clue. The entire thing was supposed to be a small bit of party politics to keep the people in power. The working class picked it up as something of a protest vote against Tory austerity. It would of worked if it was 51/49 to remain, but nope. And now the sterling is in freefall, Britain could crash and burn, taking all of Europe with us.

But hey, /pol/ has some pretty dank memes on the whole thing, so that is a positive I guess.

Edit:

CAMERON IS STEPPING DOWN

Literally can not express how happy I am. Good riddance, and don't fuck a pig on the way out you etonite prick.

Well I guess it won't be as bad for the EU as for the UK. Given that the brits were always the party poopers for the real EU measures, it might even have some positive outcomes in the end (for the EU).

I didn't know they had internet in Wyoming. I thought everyone there was a rancher who lived off the land and communicated with smoke signals.

Well the pound is in shambles and it also hurt my currency as a byproduct. I'm not very happy about that, can't comment on the rest just yet, mostly due to lack of proper insight.

The data so far :
-Northern Ireland and Scotland want to go back in the EU and ask for a referendum
-The pound is in freefall (I have a thought for the british Euro supporters here in France whose beer just became 15% more expensive overnight)
-the 350m pounds that were going to the EU each month will not fund the NHS
-There is a petition to declare London independent
I really admire the Leave supporters. They believed that immigrants were destroying their economy, so they decided to do it by themselves.

I don't know what the European rags are writing, but it is a bit more complex than that.

NI only voted 55/45 to stay, hardly the landslide seen in Scotland, which on the topic of them, knew about the possibility of leaving in the EU in this referendum, when they did their last referendum for Independence. London declaring independence is a good one, but it's a change.org petition, so can go straight into the garbage where it belongs.

As for the leave supporters believing that immigration is hurting them, it is because immigration is undeniably hurting them. Sure for the country as a whole immigration is a net positive, but for the people in impoverished areas with low skill, low pay jobs, immigration is having a noticeable negative impact on their lives. I am not even tinfoiling here, we even used to have a fund to give money to areas where immigration was occurring to, but then that pig fucker Cameron set his old bumming pal George Osborne loose at the treasury and that fund went up in smoke.

Anyway, treating the UK like a failed state because it has left Europe is reactionary scaremongering of the highest order.
