what where you like in your early forum days?
how have you changed over time? I'm sure everyone who was actively posting back then remembers the annoying demon child that was brikguy age 12- (its a shame all the old threads of overwatch baiting my younger self into arguments and constanly going at it with other forums members-mainly scythe if I'm remembering correctly, it was really funny to laugh at my younger self) but anyways what are YOUR stories of your early forum days?
*I should also clarify "going at it" means arguing, just saying that before tzan tries to make it a sexual thing

I think 99% of people like old brikguy. You were funny in the way that most kids were funny, and I don't think you ever showed a bad side.
I was actually a lot worse than you. I would make a lot of childish jokes, say good constantly and repeat myself over and over again.
Also, I think everyone knew about the nudes you sent to shadowscythe, so no jokes are necessary.

I said a lot of dumb things that somehow made other people look dumb.

I was totally in awe of things like the Epic Fleet Engagement in the Caid Sector or how cool the colour sheme of the Time Traveling Super Jews looked. I wondered wether i really wanted to buy some yellow bricks. Then i started making armies and moar stuff, including a mech of course and doing battles.
So basically same as now, only many of the old members are MIA and my English has deteriorated

I got booty bothered about too many things and I regret it.
I thing others may have found me annoying and I certainly feel that way.
I was a major fan of the assyrians and wanted an army of them. I thought brikwars was like warhammer 40k where there
is already a set bunch of factions and that I couldn't make my own. then I joined the forum and made my own.
To be honest, I'm glad I joined here, because people like shadowscythe and silverdream naming me as an example of how they didn't want
people to act in their posts made me learn a lot about how to be in public as well as the forum. So thanks guys!

Re: what where you like in your early forum days?
I try and forget what I was like in the early years. I was a 14 year old who acted like an 11 year old. I thought being a dimmy was 'edgy' so went out of my way to be boneriffic and try to stir shit, and I wasn't even very good at it. Below pretty much sums it up:

Eventually I realised that being an unlikable shitstain would only make me an unlikable shitstain, so I kind of retreated to the LDD forum to just do that for the last 4 years. Barring a few outbursts in chat I became mostly not awful. Thankfully the dimmies subforum was closed and GD was wiped, so most of the evidence is gone.

huh yea it was literally the same for me: I thought you could'nt make your own army and had to pick a pre-existing one anways I was looking throught the wiki in my misguided effort to choose an army and I saw a picture of a giant mech flipping me offmotorhead fan wrote:I got booty bothered about too many things and I regret it.

If you look back, I was super polite and kind at the very beginning of my forum days. That has just degraded over time.
