Passed away this morning to a heart attack.

Just heard of her demise after watching RO in the cinema. Rest in piece, Leia.

I guess CGI Leia will be a permanent thing now.

Now how are they gonna explain this in Episode 9 or 10 or whatever comes next?

if they can kill entire series created in a span of multiple decades and rewrite everything just to focus on some new movies, they can kill one character

They mentioned today that she shot her scenes for the next movie already.

Not Star Wars episode whogivesafuck (10?, the next one is the Solo solo movie ) though, which incidentally they wanted to give her a larger role in.

I meant the next real one.

Obvs, the solo one has been in theaters since Dec 16th

Well hopefully that included a death scene.

When I heard about Carrie Fisher dying it made me a lot sadder than I thought it would, probably because I was so blind sided. She's just one of those people that we think will always be around (or at least, that's how I felt).

Maybe not forever but I certainly expected her to outlive Han Solo at the least.

She did though... Han Solo died at the end of ep7
