why do so many people leave?

it's always puzzled me how we get such a sheer amount of people who introduce themselves then fuck off forever, anyone have any idea why?

I've been wondering that myself, I look through the member list and 90% have less than ten posts.

Even weirder is guys like Tuefish who have close ties with the community and built awesome armies before disappearing forever. Probably at least half of the people who participated in ZZD haven't been around in several years. Why?
