The BrikWars Forums

Since brikwars is the only lego forum I use I'm curious. Are we obscure or are we notorious on other websites for our general insanity?

I don't know but I view us as a shitstain on the lego community tbh Its a legacy I'm proud of

I think most other Lego communities only know BrikWars as a wargame system if at all. LUGPol even has an own translation of the 2005 ruleset.

I'm curious about this too. I used to be on a bunch of other Lego communities back in the nineties and early 2000s but nowadays I spend most of my time on game design forums instead. Does anyone here spend time on other Lego forums?

Interestingly enough, I've heard rumours that whiteagle isn't actually still banned, but working as a diplomatic envoy to North Korea for the Trump administration. Whiteagle apparently has an affinity for the Hermit King as someone who also needs to hold his friends at gunpoint.

But yeah /tg/ hates us, but that isn't exactly a big loss. I do wonder if any of the old groups that used to run Brikwars are still out there playing. Used to enjoy reading the NELUG battle reports, and those posted to LUGNET. Not really sure if any battles are getting posted outside of the Brikwars forums anymore bar the odd forum member hosting their reports elsewhere. Honestly it would be cool to see what other groups are doing with regards to battles.

I knew that wheagle ruined our relations with MFZ (thats why scythe gave him a 6 month ban if I remember correctly) but /tg/? Really? Only wheagle could manage to become the most hated user in a place where all the posts are anonymous. He chose a bad time to go there too, I feel the fa/tg/uys and ca/tg/irls are finally getting tired of blaming all their problems on Matt ward and need someone new to bitch about constantly.

I'm watching the slow evolution of his name and am pretty sure we're heading for either Wiggle or Weedle

Tripfags are a cancer for a reason. A few of them are currently driving my favourite lurking board /k/ even harder into the ground, and it is painful to watch.

But Matt 'spiritual liege' Ward is the cause of all of /tg/'s problems.

Maybe Mike should tell us what game design forums he is on, so we can "help".

Back in the day the local LUG had quikwars available in Hungarian (which was the gateway to bw for me), but that's also a ghost town of a place by now. It never really gained much recognition beyond "heh, cute".
There was one guy was doing a crazy homebrew list but AFAIK he never shared the crunch and has sold his lego since.
