The Giant Robot Fight

2 Hours to go.

I know Scythe is psyched for this, and so am I.

I really want Japan to win, but I'd say the smart money is on the USA's bot. It's just 100% American Iron mixed with some overbuilt construction machinery, you could drop that thing off a building, there just isn't anything to break. Technical issues notwithstanding, the US will take the day.

Should this come to pass, will Japan lose all its mecha credibility? Will hordes of robotech weeaboos come into the light of Battletech and Mechwarrior?

It's a puny bb Gatling gun and a water cannon versus a chainsaw and a heavy paint ball cannon mixed with American Freedomâ„¢, so I think the odds are leveled in the favor of the Americans weapons wise.

Unless the Japs have made some serious upgrades that is. Information on the MkIII is abundant, while we only know about the commercial model of the Kuratas.

EDIT: HERE WE GO!

EDIT: ROUND ONE TO JAPAN, AMERICA BTFO

EDIT: EAGLE PRIME BROUGHT IT HOME FOR THE STATES. JAPANESE PILOT ON SUDOKU WATCH.

FINAL EDIT: Fake as fuck. Never should have trusted Americans to run this show, they were obviously going to script the fuck out of it.

Honestly i thought it would be better. The pilots skills were lacking the Japanese could have backed out of the grip to avoid the chainsaw however they failed to do so. To be honest it wasn't really a mach it was very one sided the Japanese were set to fight the MK1 robot rather than the MK3. With their doubled weight the Americans were pretty much set to win the Japanese didn't really have a chance.

That was a really expensive playground fight, with matching playground rules.

That seems to be the problem there, the weapons were at best a joke. Whats the point of a giant "robot" fight when your using weapons you can strap on a RC car?

Overhyped tbh
in the future robot fighters will look back on this like soldiers look back on the firing lines of the Napoleonic era
