Battlefront Fans: The microtransactions, and exorbitant pay walls are unfair to players!

I still play battlefront 2005, apparently the multiplyer is coming back, but I can't access it with my disc version yet.

The Steam version is 10 USD dude. Also, it lets you mod it out. I.e. play as storm commandoes, shadows guards, etc on a shit ton of new maps that vary in quality.

Fuck that Company and Fuck that game.

I played it for 5 hours and refunded it. Pay to win trash.

I'm glad that this happened to Star Wars, if it was any other franchise the backlash wouldn't have been enough, Star Wars is almost universally loved and people have had enough of this shit.

Electronic Arts along with Ubisoft and Activision have ruined the gaming industry.
Other companies like Rockstar and Square don't get a free pass either.


They deserve everything they get . but what am I saying, for every conscious customer there's 4 stupid carefree people who will hand over their money without question

Looks like not paying attention to AAA titles (especially multiplayer ones) was a good life decision for once.

the issue I have with these games is that you have to pay to play online/multiplayer. You've already payed $60-$70 avg for the damn game now you get to pay another $60 for a year of online play. WTF. I agree that the paywall/lootcrate sh!t is ficking games in the butt, but if you're surprised to have to pay for DLC content, what rock do you live under? Pay to win sucks, but it tricks the stupid ppl into think they could actualy win for once. World of Tanks for example; it's free, but you can pay for priemium stuff, and if your a trash player, your still trash, no matter the money you spend. I do believe that EA is/will take a look at the paywall thing.

My next game will be called.

DownLoadableContent : Core System

It will have trading cards, 30 achievements, no actual playable game.
You need to buy DLCs for parts of the game, movement, combat, magic system, crafting ...
You get achievements for buying DLC.

Your character dies of starvation if you don't buy "DLC Food".
If your character does die, you could buy "DLC Necromancy".

It's a shame too, battlefront 2 looked really good, and I think that if the paid content was toned down to like Overwatch levels, it would have a good shot at game of the year.

I don't think the paid stuff is ac big like the first game though.
