Hi everyone, let me tell you a story.
I live in belgium, as you may know, and I am a Metalhead, the problem is that lots of the bands I like never seem to come here and do concerts, and whenever there's a big metal festival, a lot of the time the big bands like Iron Maiden say they're coming really early and all the tickets are gone in the first day.
However, last year and this one too, I have had a different kind of problem, there have been festivals I could go to, with bands I like except they are in June, the same month as my exams, so I can^t really go because my school releases the exam dates really really late.
Anyway, I thought I'd just share this story, do any of you have similar problems, and what else pisses you off?
Stuff what pisses me off.

Look on the positive side, you've got great beer, and good chocolate. I've only seen a bit of Belgium (Ypres mostly), but it was a lovely place. Your exams will eventually be over, and you'll be able to travel more to see the bands you want.motorhead fan wrote:Hi everyone, let me tell you a story.

I think I have the opposite issue. I'm all of two hours train ride away from three cities, all of which are commonly toured by metal bands (Birmingham being arguably the Mecca of Metal). But none of my friends have the time nor money to go. Last music events I can remember were Dragonforce (at £5 a fucking pint), and a freaking anime tribute band that they all hyped (alcohol was cheaper, crisis averted).

Area 11. Tribute band is perhaps a little harsh of me. It's their own material, just happens to all be anime themed.motorhead fan wrote:What was the name of anime tribute band?
